Unchained Vibes Africa is calling on talented upcoming artists to submit entries for the Freedom Vibes
Open Mic session. The aim of this exercise is to create opportunities for young artists who create socially
conscious works with interest in freedom of expression and democracy<\/strong> to showcase their talents and
access local and international opportunities.<\/p>\n\n

Benefits of participating<\/h3>\n\n

Platform to perform at the March edition of Freedom Vibes Series (FV4.0), scheduled for
Saturday 26th March 2022<\/strong> at Freedom Park in Lagos
Exposure to wider audiences, including the media and creative networks, both locally and
internationally<\/p>\n\n

Eligibility<\/h3>\n\n

Must be an emerging artist based in Lagos
Must be between the ages of 18 and 35 (age qualification will be verified)
Content must be original (devoid of copyright infringements)
Must provide a link\/ sample of your art for a sense of relevance of the performance to
democracy and freedom of expression<\/p>\n\n

How to Submit Entry<\/h3>\n\n

Click on the registration link
Register online and insert the link of video or any sample of your performance
If you don\u2019t have samples of your work already uploaded on any online platform(s), we
recommend you upload it\/them on WeTransfer<\/strong> and generate the video link. You can then insert
the link in your online registration form<\/p>\n\n

Selection criteria<\/h3>\n\n

All entries will be reviewed according to the following criteria
Content must be socially conscious with a message
Content must be interesting, engaging and relevant to freedom of expression, democracy or
social issues
Content must meet minimum standard and within the confines of artistic freedom \u2013 no
incitement of violence or promotion of crimes
Freedom Vibes is not a platform for partisan political campaigns, religious and ethnic jingoism.
Contents promoting these issues will not be accepted<\/p>\n\n

Shortlisted applicants will be contacted via email and\/or phone call for preparation.<\/em><\/p>\n\n
