Musée du quai Branly – Jacques Chirac is launching the call for applications for its Sound Art Residency progamme. The Sound Art Residency is open exclusively to artists who come from one of the four continents represented in the collections of the Musée du quai Branly - Jacques Chirac: Africa, Asia, Oceania and the Americas. There is no age limit to apply.

The 5th Brixen Water Light Festival powered by Durst is looking for artists working with light, designers and architects who would like to showcase their light art, installations or video mapping at the biggest light festival in the Alps. New Curators is a paid twelve-month curatorial training programme based in London for individuals from lower socio-economic backgrounds. It will start in September 2023. Training to become a curator is expensive and entering the profession can be difficult. Little wonder the industry is often seen as elitist and characterised by a lack of diversity. This programme aims to help make the art world more accessible and equitable in order to make it richer and more relevant.

This exchange between the two institutions aims to enrich, stimulate and develop the creativity of the participants while contributing to building a cultural and artistic bridge between dancers from different countries with different educational and professional backgrounds.
