Employment Type: Full-time (initial contract for 6 months, renewable based on performance and funding).

We are seeking a talented and motivated Video Editor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about storytelling, possess strong technical skills and be able to transform raw footage into compelling content that amplifies UVA’s mission and projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit raw video content into polished productions for campaigns, documentaries, social media and project reports.
- Collaborate with UVA’s creative team to develop visual concepts aligned with project objectives.
- Ensure high-quality audio, visuals, transitions and graphics.
- Maintain an organized archive of video materials.
- Stay updated on editing trends, tools and technologies to enhance output.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience as a video editor (portfolio required).
- Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve or equivalent).
- Strong sense of visual storytelling, pacing and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Creativity, adaptability, and passion for arts and social impact.
- Knowledge of motion graphics and sound design is an added advantage.
