UVA Contributes Actionable Strategies to Safeguard Artistic Freedom at PANAF Summit
Unchained Vibes Africa (UVA) proudly contributed to the Pan African Network for Artistic Freedom (PANAF) Summit 2026, held from February 6 to 8, 2026, in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Under the theme #FreeToCreate: Power, Pressure and Possibilities within Digital & Economic Landscapes, the event explored the evolving intersections between creativity, rights and resilience within Africa’s dynamic socio-economic and digital environments.
Represented by our Executive Producer, Ayodele Ganiu, UVA took the stage as a panelist. He participated in the vital session titled Between Justice and Control: The Law and Artistic Freedom in Africa, which examined how legal and policy environments shape artistic expression across the continent.
By engaging with government representatives, policymakers, artists and cultural advocates from across the globe, UVA contributed to a powerful collaborative effort. Together, we helped build actionable strategies and commitments that will drive advocacy and redefine Africa’s creative industries for years to come.
